Simple Sautéed Green Beans

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion (thinly sliced)
  • 3 (14.5 oz.) cans french style green beans
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup Italian style bread crumbs


  1. In sauté pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Once butter is melted, add onions and cook for 5 to 7 mins or until translucent.
  2. Stir in the drained green beans and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 20 mins. Stirring occasionally.
  3. Add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and continue to cook everything for 10 more mins.
  4. Sprinkle in bread crumbs. Lower heat until ready to serve.
